The Krush Faktory is a prolific collective of soulful musicians and friends from the Boston area. The group has long standing live residencies: a weekly Thursday show at Bull McCabes in Somerville and a monthly Saturday show on the first Saturday of every month at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge with MC Kabir.
Both residencies have been running since 2010. Jimmy Trapella, Kabir Sen and Craig "Akira" Fujita provide positive, uplifting lyrics, vivid stories and rich three-part harmonies over delicious chord progressions and funky reggae beats. Integrating the sounds and talents from a wide range of musical friends, the Krush Faktory blazes new trails in the fostering of a musical community. Their debut album "I U THEM WE" is a delightful mix of reggae, hip hop and soul that hits just right! Come and see them any Thursday at Bull McCabes or on the first Saturday of every month at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge.
